Are We? Gin Creek is located in rural southwestern Georgia. We are in Colquitt County about 15 minutes from our county seat of Moultrie. There are airports in two nearby cities: Albany, Georgia (40 minutes south of Albany.) and Valdosta, Georgia (50 minutes north of Valdosta. We are about 3 and 1/2 hours from Atlanta, Georgia. We are 1 hour from Tallahassee, Florida. We are located right off Georgia Highway #37 West on DeMott Road in the small community of Bay.
From Adel: Take Hwy. 37 West toward Moultrie. When you reach Veterans Parkway, continue straight across and drive approximately 2 miles to the dead end in downtown Moultrie. Turn left and go to the first traffic light. Turn right. This is Hwy. 37 West. Follow all Hwy. 37 West signs through Moultrie toward Camilla. As you pass by the Courthouse on your left, you will at this point travel eight miles to the Community of BAY. Turn left onto Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek signs.
From Albany: Take 133 South toward Moultrie. Travel approximately fifteen miles to Hwy. 112. (There will be a flashing caution light at this intersection.) Turn right onto Hwy. 112. Travel three miles into the community of Bridgeboro. Cross the RR tracks and immediately bear left onto the Thigpen Trail. YOU MUST BEAR LEFT. Travel thirteen miles to Hwy. 37. (There will be a cell tower on your right at this intersection.) Turn Left and travel two miles to the community of BAY. Turn Right onto the Bay-Rockford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek Signs.
From Atlanta: Take I-75 South to Tifton and follow the listed Tifton directions to Gin Creek.
From Cairo: Take Hwy.111 North toward Moultrie. Go through Meigs and travel eight miles to Hamilton Elementary School. Turn Left onto the Thigpen Trail. Go approximately five miles to the stop sign and turn right onto Hwy 37. (There will be a cell tower on your left as you turn.) Go two miles to the Community of BAY. Turn right onto the Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek signs.
From Camilla: Take Hwy. 37 East toward Moultrie. Travel through Hartsfield to the community of BAY. Turn right onto the Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek signs.
From Pelham: Take Hwy. 93N toward Hinsonton. Turn Right onto Hinsonton Road . In Colquitt County, Hinsonton Road becomes Coleman Road. Follow Coleman Road until it dead ends into Hwy. 37. Turn Right. Go one mile to the Community of BAY. Turn Right onto the Bay-Rockford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek Signs.
From Sylvester: Take Hwy. 112 S to Bridgeboro. You will Cross the RR tracks and immediately bear left onto the Thigpen Trail. YOU MUST BEAR LEFT! Travel 13 miles to Hwy. 37. (There will be a cell tower on your right.) Turn left and travel 2 miles to the Community of BAY. Turn right onto the Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek signs.
From Tallahassee: Take 319 North to Thomasville. Turn left onto the 319 Bypass around T-ville. At Highway 19, turn left and travel north for 4 miles. Turn right onto Hwy. 202 N. (There will be a BP station on your left where you turn.) Go approx 20 miles to the end of Hwy. 202. (Hamilton Elementary School will be on your left.) Hwy. 202 becomes the Thigpen Trail. Continue straight for seven miles to Hwy. 37. This will be a stop sign. TURN RIGHT (There will be a cell tower on your left at this intersection.) Travel two miles to the community of BAY. Turn right onto the Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek signs.
From Thomasville: Take Hwy. 19 North to Hwy. 202 N. At Highway 202, turn right. Go to the end of Hwy. 202. Hamilton Elementary School will be on your left. Continue straight on the Thigpen Trail. Go five miles to Hwy. 37. At the stop sign, turn right. (There will be a cell tower at this location.) Travel two miles to the Community of BAY. Turn right onto the Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek signs.
From Tifton: Take 319 South towards Moultrie. At the intersection, of Veterans Parkway & Business 319 you will continue straight on (Business 319) to the Courthouse in downtown Moultrie. At the Courthouse, turn right onto Hwy. 37 West. Travel eight miles to the Community of BAY. Turn left onto the Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek signs.
From Valdosta: Take GA. 133 to Moultrie. Continue Across Veterans Parkway. This becomes Hwy. 37 West. Follow the 37 West signs. In Downtown Moulrie, turn right on 37. (There will be a Pizza Hut on your right where you turn.) Go one block and turn left. Now, continue straight, passing by the Courthouse on your left. At the Courthouse, go eight miles to the Community of BAY. Turn left onto the Bay-Rockyford Road. Travel 3/10 of a mile and turn right onto DeMott Road. Follow all Gin Creek Signs. |
